All bedrooms are individually
styled luxury en-suite rooms
with a double or super king-size
bed or single beds if in a
twin room. We provide you
with fresh towels, bathrobes,
kettle with complimentary
tea, coffee, hot chocolate,
herbal teas and mineral water,
together with more practical
items such as hairdryer, colour
television with DVD player
and alarm clock with radio
and CD player.
Meals
We serve delicious home-cooked
organic meals such as soups
with a variety of warm crusty
home-made breads, seasonal
salads and fresh fruit and
vegetables.
Lunch is typically two courses,
starting with a home-made
soup such as Roasted Red Pepper
Tomato and Basil, Spicy Parsnip,
Diary free Watercress or Spinach
or a hearty Mixed Seasonal
Vegetable. This followed by
a seasonal salad with home-made
dressing.
Supper is usually an Organic
Chicken, Fish or Vegetarian
dish with accompanying crisp
steamed vegetables and salad.
Breakfast is a choice of
cereals, freshly baked bread,
toast or fresh fruit salad,
yogurt and freshly made fruit
juices.
With prior notice we can
cater for any food intolerances.
Prices
Not only is your stay tailor-made,
so is the cost. Prices vary
dependant on the number of
treatments that you want to
have and also the amount of
time you wish to spend with
us. For example:-
The basic price for a one
day tailor-made including
lunch and three gold treatments
starts at £195.00.
Platinum treatments can be
added to the basic package
at a supplement or can be
additional treatments.
Accommodation is charged
as follows:-
Double en-suite room for
single occupancy £90.00
per night.
Twin or super king-size en-suite
room for two people sharing
£135.00 per night.
Both prices include Supper
and Breakfast.

How to Book
Each booking will only be
secured with the receipt of
a completed signed Booking
Form together with a 50% non-refundable
deposit.
If booking within 7 days
of the date of arrival the
full amount must be paid in
order to book.
Terms of Booking
Each booking will only be secured by the receipt of a completed signed Booking Form together with the relevant NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
Deposits are to be paid over the phone, or by cheque made payable to V. Kay.
The balance of your retreat including any early arrival supplements must be received at least seven days before your expected date of arrival, please allow 10 days for cheques and 3 days for card payments to clear.
Any additional treatments booked will be charged at the end of your stay. These can only be paid for by cash or credit/debit card.
Once booked additional treatments cannot be cancelled or changed.
We DO NOT accept cheques for additional treatments.
Please note that check-out balances cannot be taken from the card details supplied over the telephone, banking guidelines state that if the cardholder is present, payment must be taken from the card using the usual chip and pin facilities.
If the cost of the retreat has been paid by someone else on the guest’s behalf and they will also be paying for any extra treatments, the cardholder must call us in person on the day of check-out to make payment, or given us written/emailed permission to use the card details.
All credit card transactions are liable to a 3% charge.
If booking within 7 days of the date of arrival the full amount including early arrival supplements is due, please call the office with your credit/debit card details to reserve a space.
You will need to have access to an email account in order that the relevant Booking Forms and Booking Acknowledgment Letters can be exchanged electronically.
Upon receipt of your completed Booking Form and Deposit you will be sent a Booking Acknowledgment letter either by post or email, this letter and this letter only is the confirmation of your booking, until you have received this, no booking can be guaranteed.
Simply Healing cannot be held responsible for any travel costs, booked before the Booking has been acknowledged in writing.
If the client chooses to arrive late or leave before the end of the retreat, Simply Healing will not refund any unused night’s accommodation and treatments cannot be re-arranged or refunded.
Any changes to the scheduled day/dates of arrival/departure can only be made by prior arrangement, timetables are as follows:-
ULTIMATE DETOX
Arrival - By 9.30am on Thursday Morning.
Departure - The retreat finishes at 5pm on Monday afternoon, however rooms must be vacated by 10 am and luggage can be left in the office or taken to your car.
Monday treatments are always in the morning; however we ask that all guests stay till after lunch.
If booking additional treatments these may be scheduled for Monday afternoon, unless we are notified in advance that early departure is required.
DETOX EXPERIENCE
Arrival 4 pm Friday (unless early arrival is booked)
Departure 5.30 pm Sunday
PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS
You must make Simply Healing aware at the time of booking any pre-existing medical conditions, as it may not be possible for you to undertake all of the treatments included in your chosen package due to contra-indications.
If you do have pre-existing medical conditions, once Simply Healing has received your Booking Form and if the various therapists feel it necessary we will then discuss with you alternative options and tailor your retreat to reflect this.
Failure to notify Simply Healing in advance i.e. on your Booking Form, will result in you not being able to undertake any treatments that may have possible contra-indications and no alternative treatments will be offered.
If you fail to inform Simply Healing of any pre-existing medical conditions at the time of Booking or upon arrival in your Confidential Health Questionnaire Simply Healing cannot not be held responsible for any health issues that arise from possible contra-indications.
In some circumstances and if the management or therapists feel it is necessary we may require a letter from your GP/Specialist stating that they are happy for you to go ahead with this kind of detox programme.
If you are taking medication of any kind it is advised that you consult your doctor before arrival.
We are unable to accept anyone with blood sugar problems, such as diabetes on any of our juicing only detox programmes, owing to the high amounts of natural sugars present in the fruit and vegetable juices.
We will not accept pregnant women on any detox programme.
CANCELLATIONS
CLIENT CANCELLATIONS
Once we have received your booking, any cancellation will result in the loss of the deposit amount paid.
In some circumstances, and only with more than seven days notice, although the deposit will not be refunded Simply Healing may carry it over to the next available detox weekend. Only one alternative date will be offered. This is however, entirely at the discretion of the management and will be reviewed on an individual basis.
Cancellations received 4-7 days before the commencement of the Booking will result in the basic package price being charged to the client.
Cancellations received with 3 days or less notice will result in the total amount including the basic package price together with any additional treatments and early arrival supplements being payable by the client.
CANCELLATIONS BY SIMPLY HEALING
Simply Healing reserves the right to cancel your booking and you may be charged up to 50% of the final booking amount if you fail to fulfil the following:-
Failure to provide us with a completed signed Booking Form by no later than five days before the commencement of your booking.
Failure to pay the balance owing, including any early arrival supplements in full no later than seven days before the commencement of your booking.
Failure to provide us where requested a letter from your GP/Specialist stating that they are aware that you are undertaking a detox and are happy for you to do so.
In the unfortunate event that Simply Healing is forced to cancel any programmed detox retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, or adverse weather conditions we will endeavour to give the client as much prior notice as possible. However in such an event Simply Healing cannot be held responsible for any expenditure already incurred by the client for travel to or from Simply Healing in the event of unforeseen cancellation.
In the event of cancellation by Simply Healing you may either transfer your booking to the next available date, or we will reimburse the full amount paid. Only one alternative date will be offered, once this is booked, the normal terms and conditions will apply.
PACKAGE CHANGES
Simply Healing reserves the right to change any of the inclusive treatments in any package at any given time without prior notice.
If for any reason a treatment has to be changed during your stay owing to staff illness, you will be offered an alternative treatment of the same value.
BREAKAGES AND DAMAGE
Any breakages or damage to any fixtures or fittings on the premises will be charged to the client with immediate effect. Damages discovered after check out will be automatically charged to the credit/debit card used for your last payment.
